A Level Fine Art Sketchbook - Sea Creature | Seahorse

This 24 double pages A2 sketchbook shows the work that I did for the A Level OCR Fine Art course about Sea Creatures. The works were inspired by Van Gogh stroke patterns and Andre Derain colour palette. The development process was looking into various types of fish and shellfish using different mediums such as colouring pencils, ink, and acrylic paint. The final piece was an A1 canvas painting of a sea horse emphasising the paint strokes defining its shade and curvature.
